Helio Kickflip, a.k.a, the MySpace phone

Helio Kickflip: Not a threat to BlackBerry, but, your kids will beg for one…

I know that this is not a BlackBerry, nor does it even compete with the BlackBerry, however, I have a feeling that unless Apple comes out with an new mobile called the iPhone, the Helio Kickflip will be the hottest mobile device to hit the 12 to 27 year old market this year.

Totally agreed. This kickphone is the phone that Apple would release if they wanted to enter this market.

Helio may actually be one MVNO that succeeds.

Isn’t competition great? Look at some of the innovative ideas coming out of MVNO’s…there’s Helio…there’s ESPN Mobile…whether these succeed or not, perhaps they will spur some innovation among the major carriers…

That is a very good point Thought. The big players can definataley take a page or two out of the playbook of some of these smaller MVNOs.
