Google Mobile App v.3.4.8 Released

by Robb Dunewood on June 17, 2009 · 10 comments

Google Mobile AppWe just heard that Google Mobile App for BlackBerry has been updated to version 3.4.8 from version 3.3.38.  It is pretty much standard operation procedure for Google to tell you absolutely nothing about what’s been updated, so, if anyone figures out what the new features are, or, comes accross a change log, be sure to post in the comments.

Google Mobile App is a pretty cool BlackBerry Application, and, better yet, it is a free BlackBerry Application.  You can download by pointing your devices browser to m.google.com or head over to www.google.com/mobile on your desktop browser.

They must have just updated it again. I just downloaded 3.4.9 for the Bold.

Google ignoring the Storm is just further evidence of how much of a dud that thing is. So glad I returned mine!

Now, back to why I came here to post. I tried to download the update and it offered me 3.3.38, not 3.4.8. Anyone else have this problem?

It says there is a 3.4.9 update on my BlackBerry Bold. Updating & rebooting app as I speak.

Well there was no change to the interface at all. Performance seems the same too. I think it’s just an update to fix bugs in the app.

I have tried to install the old version on my 8900 twice. Both times, it worked for a couple days, then froze up. I had to delete it both times. I’m going to try to install the new version, we’ll see what happens.

I thinks it a shame this app doesnt allow you to edit google docs. Its like not being able to buy and download music from iTunes on your iPhone. you have to buy DynoPlex eOffice to edit google docs mobily
