Rogers is running a Free BlackBerry promotion, if you can call it that. All you have to do is buy a brand new BlackBerry Pearl or BlackBerry 8700r and you can get up to 4 old BlackBerry 7290 devices for free.
It is kind of hard to call this a promotion seeing how you can type free BlackBerry 7290 in to Google’s search box and get back in the neighborhood of 800,000 or so results back. Some where you can get the free BlackBerry 7290 without having to first buy another device and even get a free Bluetooth headset thrown in.

Have you ever noticed that right before a new BlackBerry comes out third party resellers like Amazon, 1ShopWireless, Buy.com, etc. seem to discount there stock of older BlackBerry models? Well, it appears that the ante has been upped. Not only are there a bunch of free BlackBerry offers going on right now, several resellers are actually paying you to take their excess inventory out of their warehouses.

It seems like Free BlackBerry offers are always popping up from time to time, however, we didn’t expect to see a Free BlackBerry Pearl offer so close its launch.
Props have to go to the BBHub team on this one for letting us know that MobilePro.com is offering a Free BlackBerry Pearl with no strings attached. That’s right, a Free BlackBerry Pearl offer after paying $99.99 and getting two $50 mail-in rebates.
Some may say that the two mail-in rebates are strings attached, however, you will only have to shell out $100 initially. That is not too bad if even if you didn’t get it back.
