Free BlackBerry Ringtones

by Robb Dunewood on July 11, 2006 · 43 comments

An anonymous commenter left us a link to TuneUsIn.com, a site that claims to have free BlackBerry ringtone downloads. I cannot vouch for the copyrights on these ringtones and the about section of tuneusin.com is pretty light so download with caution.

This website is awesome! They figured out how to encode .MP3’s properly for the Blackberry! I have a 8700 and have been battling with ringtones.

They allow you to send them your ringtone and they will convert it and post it free!!!

Great service!!

It seems as though their content hasn’t been updated in a while. A lot to be said about a free service.

Well I got my hopes up for nothing. The files are not converted correctly for a blackberry. If anyone can prove me wrong, please do so. I would like this site to work just as much as any of you.

I just got the new Verizon Pearl and the web browser won’t allow me to pull up tuneusin.com.
It tels me ‘a problem was encountered while trying to pull up the requested page.’
Any ideas how I can get this corrected?

For free balckberry ring tones, go to crackberry.com. Or you can you your media manager to transfer MP3 songs to your Blackberry than you will have the option to apply them as ring tones.
Something else i do is log in to my yahoo messanger on my blackberry than try to send MP3 songs from my pc ( using an other yahoo messanger account)…….or you have a 3 rd option is to save them to your Micro sd card than save them to your BB.

Hope these informations will help you guys.

Where do youa ll see FREE??? All I see is $9.99 per month – how is that FREE??

Anyone have reccomendations for websites with actual FREE Ringtones, Games, Themes or Apps?

Crackberry has some things, you still must register, and apps, themes, games and such cost $$.

Tuneusin used to be free. I used to get ringtones all the time from there. I am not sure when they started charging. Does anyone else have any ideas where we can get free ringtones?

Kesh June 19, 2009 at 5:26 am

You can try Zedge, thosands of free ringtones for blackberry

Celeste July 13, 2009 at 10:30 am

Seriously, the ringtones are free. I download from TuneUsIn all the time. You have to click on “ringtones” at the very top of the page. They also have ads on the page, maybe that is what you are clicking on.

If you are having trouble getting ringtones to work on your phone, download BitPim for free. It will sense what kind of phone you have and convert any MP3 so it will work on most CDMA phones…. even non-Blackberry phones. I have a Samsung Alias and BitPim works on it. For a list of the supported phones, go to http://www.bitpim.org/help and click on “Phones” on the left panel.
