Free BlackBerry Entertainment Starter Pack From bplay

The free BlackBerry Entertainment Starter Pack being offered by bplay.com isn’t anything new. As a matter of fact, we may have even talked about before here on RIMarkable. One of the questions, however, that I am asked the most here on RIMarkable is “Where can I get free BlackBerry games?”

We talk often about heading over to mobile.blackberry.com, however, if you are willing to sign up to the bplay newsletter, not only can you get a free BlackBerry game, but a free BlackBerry theme, and a free BlackBerry ringtone as part of the BlackBerry Entertainment Starter Pack.

This is IT’s nightmare…..

“Free BlackBerry Games, Themes, and Ringtones.” on the corporate BB’s. The Blackberry is no longer the device business only device it once was. Perhaps the RIM BB is like a mullet “business in the front, party in the back.”

Not really Hellno,

Corporations that care can easily deploy profiles that prevent their BlackBerry users from installing anything they don’t want them to install.

This would however, be a nightmare for an organization trying maintain a deployment of iPhones.

Right Robb, funny you bring up the iPhone…. :)

The iPhone out less than a year does not yet have perfect corporate etiquette yet but many corporations are finding out the iPhone does work for them as released v1. I sure wouldn’t bet against Apple and the iPhone not gaining perfect corporate etiquette sooner than later. Remember the iPhone is not just a smartphone its a handheld computer.

Just a few years ago we had to fool BB’s into using custom ringtones of certain lengths, it’s good to see the Blackberry is growing a mullet and letting business and party work together.
