Cingular BlackBerry Pearl on Amazon

Amazon.com has the Cingular BlackBerry Pearl listed on their site and here is the screen grab to prove it. You could, of course, actually go to their site to see for yourself as well.

Looks like Amazon is offering the Cingular BlackBerry Pearl for $49.99 when purchased with a three year Cingular plan. The device will set you back almost $500 bucks without the service plan.

Amazon is also running a promotion where you can get a free Logitech Bluetooth headset when you buy a qualifying Bluetooth enabled phone which the Cingular BlackBerry Pearl is. The headset is worth $19.95.

My personal feeling at this point in time…and that’s all it is…is that the item will be released on Fri Dec 1.

I also predict that Cingular will sell a very large volume of these units, far more than T-Mobile has…not because of their superior customer service, but simply by virtue of being a carrier over twice the size of T-Mobile.

My next prediction is that once sales start coming in from Cingular, then RIM’s stock will move even higher.

Thought,

I was thinking the same thing. Even after all the controversy, the spectacular BlackBerry Pearl sales that we saw on T-Mobile will almost seem like a pre-release once the Cingular Pearl commercials start kicking in.
