Bubble Popper: Free BlackBerry Game From AIM

by Robb Dunewood on June 3, 2008 · 9 comments

Stefan from AIM Productions just sent me a press release stating that AIM has just launched their first batch of BlackBerry Games including the Free BlackBerry Game Bubble Popper.

The point of the game is simple: remove bubbles from the grid by double-clicking groups of two or more adjacent, like-colored bubbles. The longer your bubble chains are, the more points you score.

In addition to the free Blackberry game, Bubble Popper, AIM has released 3 other titles which, for a limited time, you can get a 30% discount on through ClickGamer.

To get the 30% discount just enter in the promotion code berry007 at checkout.

FYI – No OTA install that I could find. Could not get the .alx to install on an 8330 (VZW) with up-to-date desktop and handheld software. Used javaloader to install the COD and the program immediately requested access to the phone subsystem (don’t remember exact verbiage of the request). I did not grant this because I didn’t understand why it was needed based on the vendors description of the program, so had to uninstall with javaloader because the program did not appear on the application list, even after a battery pull.

Why would it request access to phone logs?? That is beyond me and I too took it off my phone and did not grant access. I can’t imagine why it would need that info.

I typed rimarkable.com/bubble-pop into my phone and brought it up that way. I couldn’t get it to load from desktop thru mgr app loader but they wanted 4.99 , I called BB and they said there is a bubble pop on rim for $1. I cant find it. good luck!
