BlackBerry Magnum To Be Introduced At WES 2009

What do you get when you cross a BlackBerry Bold, a BlackBerry Storm, and a BlackBerry Javelin?

According to BGR, you get a HSDPA BlackBerry with a keyboard and a touchscreen in that sleek new BlackBerry Curve 8900 body and it’s called the BlackBerry Magnum

WES is a ways off so this tidbit definitely goes in the Rumor Mill category however, it should be noted that the BG is usually right about this stuff.

Will the keyboard slide out or will it be more like a Palm device?

“in that sleek new BlackBerry Curve 8900 body”
I’m guessing “Palm like” (your words) from that statement.

I think that if the rumors about features & form-factor are accurate, **and the HSDPA has T-mo frequencies**, this will be my next BB come the next re-sign/subidized purchase with them.

I’m sure there is some value in having a touchscreen along with a keyboard…and I’m not talking about a slider…but but in this form as described above…but I don’t think it’s a big deal.

If I have the keyboard, I don’t really need the touchscreen that much. Sure, it might make it marginally easier to point and click to open an application and execute some other commands, but it’s not a big deal IMHO.
