An new report from Osterman Research is claiming that 95% of Senior managers in North America use BlackBerry devices. The report also claims that 63% middle managers use BlackBerries as well.

The results are based on 76 messaging oriented decision-makers that responded to a survey commissioned by Zenprise, a Fremont, CA based BlackBerry and Exchange management company.

The report and the statistics turned out to be rather interesting,” said Ahmed Datoo, vice president of marketing at Zenprise. “What we’ve seen in terms of the pain of managing the infrastructure, to start off with, we wanted to have a better understanding of who are the people using mobile devices in the enterprises. It turns out that about 95 per cent of the people surveyed said senior managers use it.

Seeing how a BlackBerry services management company commissioned this report I wouldn’t be shocked if these numbers are a bit high.

I’m with you on this one Zander. All you have to do to make a report come out the way you want is control the group you send the survey to.
