Mobile.BlackBerry.com is a site that we have mentioned several times before, however, every now and then I get an email asking where I get those cool free Magmic card games. Well, Mobile.BlackBerry.com is the place and they have even added a few free BlackBerry action games as well.
As of the time I wrote this post there are 8 free BlackBerry games for you to choose from.

The games themselves cost no money, but does downloading something on my Blackberry cost money? does that just use up the “data” part of my plan? im new to this whole thing

you have to download the games through the blackberry browser on your blackberry. i believe that if you don’t have the internet plan then you won’t be able to download the games …

Getting these games is quite simple. Go to http://www.mobile.BlackBerry.com from your BB browser. The www is important!!! Scroll down to games,free games and, Viola….. Select your game.
new plan for installing .jar files on your phone without using web browser. to do this open up your blackberry desktop manager. click on media manager. if you have a media card click on it. if not click on device memory. create a folder called . jar files. send all your . jar files to be downloaded to the file we just created called .jar files. once all files are transfered. now click on the media application on the blackberry. press the button for a full menu and then click explore. now access the file we just created. all your .jar files will be there. click on one of them and your file is ready to be launched from you blackberry’s memory drive. any questions contact me: paulbhandari@gmail.com

Hey all i have a 8310 curve and i have had it for a while now but never have been able to get free games on it. As i had a nokia 6110 befor and i just downloaded them from the net and up them to the phone seems to me that a phone so smart has a realy crap access to games. The games listed in the original article aren’t free. Obviously the author can’t tell the difference between free, and trial games. Mind you this is the same as the rest of the world. Everyone seems to call every game free.

There are free games if you go to http://www.mobile.BlackBerry.com from your BB browser. Scroll down to games, then select free games, then you can choose either the free trial games, OR the free, full-version games. There are 8 to choose from.

This is rubbish. If you go to either mobile.blackberry.com or http://www.mobile.blackberry.com there is no link to games. In fact if you search for ‘games’ the result is…nothing! Perhaps I’m missing something but I can’t find these games on this site.
