Yesterday, Google Talk for BlackBerry got the make over. Today, GMail Mobile receives the update. If you don’t have your GMail account set to push email directly to your device via BIS, GMail Mobile is a nice alternative.
The updated version of GMail Mobile is faster then the the 1.0 release and allows you to view attachments such as pictures, Word documents, and .PDF files.
You can download GMail Mobile by point your devices’ browsers to http://gmail.com/app.

One of the biggest drawbacks to having a cameraphone is that most of the pictures that you take rarely ever make it beyond your mobile. This is the case even with the BlackBerry Pearl and BlackBerry Curve.
Fortunately, iTookThisOnMyPhone, a free BlackBerry application that will automatically upload pictures that you take on your BlackBerry Pearl or BlackBerry Curve to the iTookThisOnMyPhone photo sharing site. Simply take a picture with your CameraBerry and iTookThisOnMyPhone will handle the rest.
I am still waiting for Verizon to release their BlackBerry Pearl 8130 so I cannot really test iTookThisOnMyPhone out. If you, however, decide to give it a go., leave us a comment and tell us what you think.
You can download iTookThisOnMyPhone here…

It seems like everyone is talking about the new Facebook for BlackBerry Smartphones application. I have to be honest and say that the whole social network bug hasn’t bitten me yet. I don’t think I’ve logged into my Facebook account since the time that I created it.
Amit Agarawal from Digital Inspiration, on the other hand is a big BlackBerry user and big Facebook user and has posted Facebook for BlackBerry screenshots from his BlackBerry Curve over on his blog.
