Just after the touchscreen BlackBerry patent was published yesterday and from what I believe to be pressure from my “Should RIM come out with a slider phone BlackBerry” poll?, new BlackBerry patents were published today describing describing tilting and slide-out keyboards.
The whole line about the pressure from my poll may be be a big far fetched, however, a Touch Screen BlackBerry with a slide-out keyboard is looking more and more like something that will soon some to fruition.

I saw that the other day. Not sure if I like that design. I’m a heavy user and would be concerned about breaking what seems to be some sort of support bridge for the screen to tilt up. Plus it would make it somewhat odd to balance I would think. I would probably prefer the keyboard to just slide out from the bottom or the side in landscape fashion. Just my opinion, but it would certainly be interesting to see.
