BlackBerry Curve Launch May 25th, Launch Party June 8th

by Robb Dunewood on May 21, 2007 · 5 comments

BGR is reporting that BlackBerry maker, Research in Motion, and AT&T are holding a New York City launch party for the BlackBerry Curve on June 8th which, if BG’s sources or correct, may be a couple of weeks after AT&T actually releases the BlackBerry Curve.

AT&T is really trying to get the BlackBerry Curve out the door this month. Nothing is set in stone, but I think we can all agree that it is in everyone’s best interest to get this out sooner than later.

BG says in the comments that all signs are pointing to a Friday release.

I think it makes sense to get it out the door sooner then later. Memorial Day weekend is the perfect time to release the Curve, remember RIM is marketing this thing as a very Consumer friendly device! And all the Consumers will be out and about shopping come the long weekend!

I wish Verizon were getting this soon. I’d pay full retail to upgrade to it. I just can’t bring myself to switch to ATT/Congular.

Verizon is such a strange company. They offer absolutely fantastic customer service, yet their policies are so anti-customer.
