BlackBerry 8700c to be officially announced November 1st

by Robb Dunewood on October 21, 2005 · 9 comments

The highly anticipated, long awaited BlackBerry 8700c will be officially unveiled November 1st at a launch event in New York at the multimedia event space Tribute NYC.

A BBHub reader, who asked to remain anonymous, received an invitation to this event and sent the text of the invite to Russell Shaw…

Your evening at Tribute NYC begins with a reception to unveil the new BlackBerry 8700c, where you will have the opportunity to mingle with RIM and Cingular executives. This unique experience concludes with a special presentation from celebrity guest Lance Armstrong, who will talk about how the new BlackBerry 8700c helps his business and his life run better.

November 1st 6pm.

Unless there is another launch event scheduled before November 1st, Cingular will be the first carrier to offer a BlackBerry 8700 device. Below is a picture of what we think the BlackBerry 8700c will look like.
