I just read an interesting article on abc News and the author, Eric Noe, brings up a good point, “If BlackBerry Blacks Out, Who Will Fill In?

There is no other wireless email provider that can even come close to offering what Research in Motion offers with their BlackBerry platform. I am sure that Good will say that they could easily step in and take the place of RIM but let’s be serious. Most people have never heard of GoodLink and the fact that they haven’t really even raised their awareness much more than it was before the BlackBerry shutdown madness started to spread like a pandemic. I question if Good could every really be more than second or third to RIM.

It’s a good thing that a BlackBerry shutdown will never happen. Corporate America would be in a world of hurt if it ever did.
