Crackberry has gotten a pretty big scoop on all the devices that Research in Motion has planned to be released in 2011 on CDMA networks like Sprint, Verizon, and Alltel.  We’ve already started hearing rumors about some of these devices, but, this is a roadmap with a few devices we didn’t know about as well as expected release time frames.

First up we have the BlackBerry Curve 9330.  No big deal here, as, this device has been around for a while.  In Q2 it looks like RIM will be releasing a CDMA BlackBerry PlayBook.  We know that Sprint will be releasing a WiMax PlayBook in the summer and have heard rumors about a 3G and even an LTE variant coming in Q2, but, this is the first time that we’ve heard of a CDMA PlayBook.

Q3 will be big for CDMA BlackBerry Devices.   First we should see the BlackBerry Montana, a CDMA version of the BlackBerry Dakota.  We should also see the BlackBerry Monaco, a 1.2 GHz BlackBerry Storm successor.  We should see the next CDMA BlackBerry Curve, the Sedona, in late Q3 or early Q4.  Wrapping up the year we could see the BlackBerry Malibu, a full touchscreen BlackBerry Curve like device that we hadn’t heard of before.

All in all, it could be a big year for RIM on the CDMA device front.  It’s unfortunate that most of these devices won’t come out until the second half of the year, but, that is always the case when it comes to new devices.  We wish that the would be released when first hear about them…
