Any Tour users out there that want to give a review? I use a Curve on VZW that is a bit over a year old and is starting to misbehave. I may need a new BB and am considering another Curve, a Tour or a Storm. Any preferences? I use it for work as my phone and send a lot of email on it. Thanks!

I got my Tour Sunday…I have been a Blackberry user for over 6 years, and the Tour has been very impressive. My wife got the Storm last December and even as a first time user, she had to take it back and exchange for a curve within 30 days. She loves the Curve…but when she saw and played with the Tour…she wants one, too.

It is highly unlikely that it will be the fastest selling BlackBerry. If you look at it this way, all those people that bought Curves with BOGO deal are not likely to get a Tour. Why? Because their contracts were most likely just extended, and since they took advantage of a BOGO deal it is highly unlikely that they have money to pay for the full price. The Curve has been with both Verizon and Sprint for a little over a year, and most of those people are under a contract. By the time those contracts expire a new BlackBerry device will come out for both Verizon and Sprint.

The same thing will happen with corporate users. I know my employer is definitely not getting us new BlackBerry devices due to the economy. I highly doubt that many companies will be upgrading phones, especially the ones that have hundreds, thousands of employees who are issued BlackBerry devices.

RIM might sell quite a few but….

No since the BB Tour is only being sold by cdma networks, the BB Tour will not “be the fastest selling BlackBerry ever.”

GSM Blackberry’s (using standard, open, global, GSM technology) is where the volume is at for RIM, and all other handset manufactures.

Will big red cripple the Tour’s autonomous gps?
The BB Tour is missing technology which industry standard in smartphones WiFi.
