I think Norman may be on to something. Most users don’t follow all the rumors, tech blogs, etc…they simply look at what’s available and see if they like it.

I have seen the bold mockup at Best Buy and just that alone looks great. And seeing as we are entering the holiday season, the Bold should get a boost from that as well.

I think in retrospect the only thing that may cost some Bold sales is the fact that it is being released after the economic downturn really hit, instead of earlier this year, before everything hit the fan.

It will indeed be interesting to see which sells better…the Bold on ATT or the Storm on VZW. I’d bet at this point the Storm on VZW.

We’ve had them for a few weeks here in Canada and we are seeing them EVERYWHERE. Huge early adoption rate.

I think it will sell well, but no where near the numbers the Storm is going to generate for Verizon.

I think that he might be right. Most BlackBerry users that will get a Bold either have no idea, or, don’t really care how delayed the device is. All they know is that there is a new BlackBerry out and it is time for them to upgrade.
