I do not think it has anything to do with BB Maps. You need to go to options, find your status IME number, call your provider to get your MEP number, then you will want to go to "advanced" options under the "Options" menu, select the "SIMM Card" feature. You will want to type in MEPD after you have opened up the "SIMM Card" feature. You will then see some basic information about your Blackberry. Now you will type in MEP, then hold the "alt" and your number 2 button at the same time. The MEP menu will apper. You will only have TEN attemps to get it right, so you must have your MEP code from the service provider! Go ahead and enter the MEP code. Now your Blackberry is unlocked! Have fun!!!
