Actually Gary,

I think that Verzion, becasue of the number of business BlackBerry users on their network, will see less of the iPhone impact than the other carriers.

T-Mobile, in my opinion, is the carrier that should be a bit worried because they tend to sign up a lot of first time BlackBerry buying consumers that may be swayed by the Cingular only iPhone.

seeing as in june they will be losing customers out the wazoo to cingular due to the iphone release they need to offer anything and everything they can to keep their customers.

If a cdma version comes oou for Verizon is this good news for Sprint? I think the best way for RIM to compete with the Apple I phone is to target the business users. Wouldn’t SprintNextel be the obvious carrier to deliver this with their high percentage corporate business?

Your comment seems to have some hate in it. “Your” guesses and assumptions? Speaking for myself, we get tips and notes every day from various people regarding all spectrums of the BlackBerry World. We take those, scrape what we think is most relevant, and blog about it. Robb isn’t getting these numbers/dates from just anywhere.
ANYWAY. I’ve heard a Feb. 2 date being chucked around. I really can’t confirm/deny. More fuel to the rumour fire.
