I just want to know why can’t blkberry all be ready with all crap we need on there.
Isn’t that why we are spending so money these expensives cell phones. I’d be lucky not to
look for all these downloads and stuff to just to gat a song or a video on my phone and
spend more….so please have it ready….HELP!!!!!

Maybe because App World sucks? Seriously – and I don’t mean content. The software is horrid. I have issues with it recognizing installed software all the time and it’s a pain to use. RIM you created the cache & gave me an 8 gig stick…please consider using some of the memory available so I don’t spend forever waiting on the stupid App World to load the pictures and other crap.

Yet another reason why RIM needs to grow a set and start (in addition to service provider sales) selling direct, unbranded, unlocked BB’s. verizon has been removing RIM’s applications and functions on BB’s since they started selling BB’s. It’s way past due that RIM restricts what the service providers can do to their hardware. The four orifices mess with device firmware, applications, functions and UI and it’s the consumer and RIM who loses.

Think this is the case, South Africa only very recently got the App World for example, rather not install a app then have a lot of people complain about a “broken” app to their carrier. As far as I understand the App store is available almost everywhere the iphone is sold?

I’m pretty sure it has to do with the mobile carriers objecting to it. Heck, AT&T doesn’t even let BlackBerrys come with BlackBerry Maps!

More RIM Stupidity?

Robb think we’ve gone over this before, in addition to “Why Doesn’t BlackBerry App World Come Pre-Installed On New Devices?” HECK, why doesn’t RIM push out the BB App World app?

It’s like RIM is trying to fall further and further behind.
