The storm looks like a nice toy, key word being toy anyone who really uses a blackberry likes keys also the little known fact about the storm is the processor is twice as fast on the bold as on the storm also because verizon uses radios you can only use one function at a time on the bold you can send an email while on the web and answer a BBM all at the same time. Also to those who swear vzw has such a great network wait till they go to LTE and start using sims. Then you will see, oh yea that will happen by 2012.

I think the Storm is going to kill em all! Reason being VZW needs a real winner right now, especially with all the problems at&t is having with there network, and launching devices. You gotta kick em while there down, and that’s what VZW plans to do. While a Bold will set u back $399 at the point of sale, the Storm is coming in at $299. Both come with $100 rebates! But with the economy the way it is, people will lean towards the newer, fresher, better priced Berry in my opinion!

PS reliable Blackberry’s do matter to most of us. We all would think you bluehorseshoe would care about reliable Blackberry’s since you claim your such a power user who continues to have Blackberry reliablity issues. How sadly typical of bluehorseshoe desperate to change the topic when it comes to issues with Blackberry’s and where they rank reliable.

Studies show the iPhone is twice as reliable as Blackberry

“In a study done by SquareTrade, out of 15,000 iPhone handsets, only 5.6 percent failed in the first year of use. Blackberry handsets failed 11.9 percent within the first year. Palm came in third with 16.2 percent failing in a 12-month period. Battery failure was also a lot better in the iPhone than in Blackberry and Palm handsets.”

Well, I couldn’t vote for the Javelin because there’s not enough info or feel/touch to know. Not surprised that the Storm would out do the Bold because it’s targeted at the consumer market for the most part and this blog isn’t going to attract many on the corporate side. I think both should do well due to the main corporate market using AT&T and prefer to keep it simple with a device like the Bold and its keyboard. For marketing and opularity’ and getting RIM into the consumer market and compete with Apple and the iPhone, hands down it’s the Storm. But if corporate folks visited these blogs, it may be a closer vote. ,

I had a feeling that the BlackBerry Storm would come out on top, however, I had no idea that it would get almost triple the BlackBerry Bold votes.
