Today marks the official start of the holiday shopping season. It is the biggest shopping day of the year for many retailers and has been named Black Friday because this is the day that puts many retailers “In the Black” as far as earnings are concerned.
Today is also the day that the BlackBerry 8700c hits the shelves in stores so the day could just as easily be named BlackBerry Friday. The 8700c is not the only new BlackBerry out there. Shoppers could also choose the BlackBerry 7100i from Sprint/Nextel, the 7105t from T-mobile, the 8700r for our friends up to the north, or possibly but a pre-order in for the 7130e that is supposed to hit shelves in the coming week or so.
