I had bolt installed for a little while, and I found that it slowed down my blackberry’s performance significantly, took up memory and deleted my text messages. Uninstalling it fixed the problem. It’s a beta, so beware.

Bolt Update V 0.83 I downloaded this update from the old V 0.73 for the 8330 Curve on Verizon and it works great except for You Tube which does not play and gives a java error. All the pages load just like you would view them on a PC not in a mobile view. Still playing with it. Still not happy with trackball movement but it is better than the first release.

its ok, a lil bit faster than opera, a whole lot faster than the blackberry’s browser. just wish a browser with flash came out already for the blackberry bold.

Yeah. Faster than Opera, but compared to the BB browser the interface stinks.
Simple things like hitting the back button to go back a page or hitting return to enter text aren’t there. And forget about magnification, its a pain

I have Bolt and Opera.
I am not sure if one is faster
than the other. They both have
their good points.
