The music behind this BlackBerry 6 Sneak Peek Video isn’t as good as the last one we showed you back at WES2010, however, a lot more functionality of the upcoming BlackBerry operating system is shown.
Liking what I see, but at this point, I would prefer a nice walk-through. Things wizzing by is great for commercials. It’s youtube, pick somethiing and run through it. Let me get a real feel and know which app I’m in. New sms looks good, but will it be available for say Curve 2, Tour, 9700? Compatibility and who can upgrade are what we would like to know @ this point. Are the new apps only for OS 6 or can they be used on OS 5 devices. So, no wouldn’t get all the new items, but some. This needs more than a short “taste”.
I was would say with great certainty that since this is a sneak peek of BlackBerry 6, that the features you see will be availability on devices that run BlackBerry 6. The 9700 will run 6. I am not sure what you are referring to when you say curve 2, so whether that will run BlackBerry 6 or not, I cannot say…
The 8520/8530 are called Curve 2. I was actually wondering if any of those devices, even if they don’t get OS 6, would get some of the updated apps. Still patiently waiting to see which devices can actually utilize 6 (non touch screen).
