Why is the usb plug on the device upside down? Try plugging it into your car charger (assuming most cars cigarette lighers are in the center, to the right of the driver). I like the style... the shiny bezel will be an annoyance but it was the same on my current Motorola phone too... you learn to live with it and its fine.
