Unlock your BlackBerry over the air…

GSM Phone Source offers a service to unlock your AT&T / Cingular BlackBerry 8700c, 7290, 7280, or 7100g over the air remotely. Once you service unlock your device, you can use it on a different carriers network. This really comes in handy if you travel internationally and need local phone service when you are abroad. It also allows CrackBerry addicts that cannot wait to get the BlackBerry 8700c but don’t want sign up to a Cingular plan to do it.

The remote BlackBerry unlocking service costs $45 and can be accessed by visiting the GSM Phone Source site.

    RIMarkable doesn’t provide this service, however, if you Google ‘unlock BlackBerry 7130g’ a slew of options will show up.
