I am not ready to swap my 7130e for a Windows Mobile device, however, I must admit, that if you take the fact that they are battery hogs and buggy away, in almost all cases, they have one up on the BlackBerry from cool feature standpoint.

RIM has to address this because eventually Palm will get the hardware right and MS will get the software right.

The remoteless wipe only works if the radio is turned on. Even a Treo can work if the wireless radio connecting the device to the carrier is turned off. As Homer would say, “D’OH!”

I don’t know what that idiot was on about with the whole Good being able to remotely wipe. Did they not realise BlackBerry can do that too!!!!

I have been a faithful BlackBerry user for the passed 5 years but I have to admit that I just defected to Goodlink as well. I just changed jobs and had to turn my 7250 back in. My new company will pay my phone bill, however, I have to buy my own device. I could have bought another 7250 but most people use MDAs, Treos, and other Windows Mobile devices. I decided to try the 700w.

I if I am completely honest when I compare these things email is just about a wash but the calendar is waaaaay better on the Treo. I did like my keyboard on the 7250 a bit better but other than that, the Treo is better in every other way except the occasional reboot every week or so and battery life.

BlackBerry better watch out because the other devices out today don’t just lay down when compared to the BlackBerry like they used to.
