The problem which happens from time to time is not peoples settings on their BB’s it’s RIM’s BB NOC having problems and when that happens the email is not pushed to the BB’s.

Is there still no official word from RIM on what caused the latest BB outage and why?

BBBold never had a problem with getting emails at all i get all images in my inbox from the date posted before and after up to now everything runs smooth. i dont think the problem is with the direction of emails coming off one location server of rim like someone stated above probly settings default ones. normally when people get the phone they leave it as is i use both bbconnect on my ppc and my bold and never had problems with emailing. there can be a number of things causeing this even filters on emails that catches some emails as junk can have something to do with it if your using yahoo, gmail, hotmail accounts i have tested hotmail and to learn its the slowest of all emails even when forwarded as to yahoo blackberry.net should be direct thou there should always be a constanst connection to any email thats there.

No problems with email on my wife’s 8330 curve or my 9530 storm either.

I may have spoken too soon. AsiaC–I’m having that issue too. Also, last night I started getting emails that were from August and November of last year. Today, so far so good.

This is the problem when all BB data comes from a single source. Not at all up to today’s standards.

Check the other blogs. People as far away as South Africa and Europe where having problems. Personally, I was down for the count in Austin in the afternoon. I pulled my battery thinking that might help and I got the dreaded jvm error for the 2nd time with this phone.

Whatever new iphone version comes out this summer, I will seriously consider switching this time around. I’m sick of these outages.

East Coast VZW user – I had no e-mails on Monday; all but gmail yesterday; and looks like everything is working today. iPhone not an option for me unfortunately. Missing my Treo more everyday!

Blackberry Bold 9000 on AT&T, only email issues i have is the html, the only way to see the images is to click on “get images” and even then in won’t load all the images in the email itself. besides that, i get every single email.
