The Perfect Blackberry: The T-Mobile MDA IV

February 16, 2005 by Robb Dunewood Leave a Comment

If you are like me, not only do you carry a Blackberry, you carry a traditional PDA as well. Don’t get my wrong, I love my 7100t and could not imagine life without it, but, I have also come to rely on many of the applications that run on my Pocket PC that I just cannot find for the BlackBerry. That being said, my dream of only having to carry one device that can handle all my needs is near reality. The T-Mobile MDA IV will hopefully be released sometime in late Q2 or early Q3, just around the time that my existing plan expires. Expected features are:

  • VGA resolution swiveling LCD screen
  • WiFi
  • Bluetooth
  • 520MHz processor
  • Full QWERTY keyboard
  • Windows Mobile 2005
  • RIM’s BlackBerry Connect email technology
  • Automatic switching between WiFi and 3G/GPRS
