It's an absolutely elegant way to get close to the tactile feedback of a physical keypad but on a virtual one. The problem with the Storm has never been Surepress; it's been the software. One could certainly have a very polished software OS that works quickly and responsively, and still have SurePress. So I agree: Bravo to RIM for SurePress; it's the best solution so far for a virtual keyboard. I have always thought the Surepress technology was one of the best features on the Storm.
