GSM's "new" technology is running at speeds I had on Sprint & VZ two years ago (and it's still not available in remotely as many locations as EVDO). All of the people I know that have it, love it, even though they never have reception and drop calls all of the time. It is like they are under some sort of spell! I almost cracked and switched for a Curve...but I held it together and ordered an 8800 to hold me over until T-Mobile releases their Curve. I think the 8800 looks better than the Curve though. Calls to him on that phone sound terrible because the call is always fading in and out (or just drops). No such problem on the Verizon phone. I am ONLY with VZW for their network.
