There are a lot of people out there who would buy an iPhone if they could use it with Sprint, T-Mobile, or whatever else, but aren't going to leave said providers just to have one. That and there's legitimately useful software on the Blackberry and it's easy to get exactly what you're looking for. Apple's just doing what they did in their Mac vs. PC commercials, advertising their ability to do exactly what their competition does but making it sound like it's somehow more special because they're doing it. I have a strong feeling the iPhone being only on AT&T is the key issue.
