Xobni For BlackBerry Updated… Free Version Now Available

One of my favorite BlackBerry applications, Xobni for BlackBerry, has been updated to version 2.0.1.1.  New in this version:

  • Universal Search – Universal Search integration for OS 6.x devices, Xobni results will show up in your native BlackBerry search! (Pro only)
  • Contact Sharing – Share full contact details, emails/phone numbers via email or SMS (OS 6.x). Xobni users will see a notification dialog in Xobni.
  • Export To Adress Book – Now users can export contact details from Xobni to the native BlackBerry Address Book (Pro only).
  • Search by Company/Title – Leveraging the social and Outlook contact details from Xobni, search for Company or Title (Pro only).
  • Free Version! – Xobni for BlackBerry can now be downloaded for free, which will include Xobni Pro upgrades with a few feature limitations (up to 3 compose screen lookups per day).

Xobni For BlackBerry Updated: Now BlackBerry 6 Compatible

We’ve just received word that one of our top 10 BlackBerry applications, Xobni for BlackBerry, has been updated to version 1.0.88.9 and is now compatible with BlackBerry 6 and the BlackBerry Torch.   for those of you not familiar with Xobni, it essentially is a BlackBerry Address book on steriods, and, a must download for anyone who uses their BlackBerry for what their BlackBerry was intended for…  Email.  Xobni for BlackBerry the most used third party application on my device…

Improvements in Xobni 1.0.88.9 include:

  • Touching the Xobni bar or flicking up works on compose, reply and forward actions now work on OS 6x devices
  • Updated High-Definition icons
  • Touch scrolling enhanced for optimized scrolling experience
  • Editing is aware of virtual keyboard display and formats content shown on remaining screen
  • Add picture for contacts via camera

Xobni For BlackBerry Updated To Version 1.0.81.11

Xobni for BlackBerry, one of our favorite BlackBerry applications, and, arguably the third party BlackBerry application that I use the most, has been updated to version 1.0.81.11.

Xobni, inbox spelled backwards, is the ultimate address book organizing your contacts in order of importance based on the how often you interact with them.  New features in the latest version of Xobni for BlackBerry inlcude:

  • A user can now use the convenience keys for launching the Xobni compose screen (in options)
  • A user can choose to add a Xobni signature to outgoing emails
  • Updated LinkedIn Login process
  • New menu item labeled “Activate” allows a user to activate manually after purchasing a license

Xobni Now Available On BlackBerry App World

We’ve just received word that Xobni for BlackBerry is now available in BlackBerry App World. Xobni is an address book on steroids.  It builds its contact list based on the email, text messages, and phone calls that you send and receive and ranks them in order of importance.

Xobni Releases New BlackBerry Beta With LinkedIn Integration

I know that just before Xobni was officially released, I gave it a little flack about taking so long to come out, however, since it has, it arguably has become one of, if not the most used 3rd party BlackBerry applications on my device.  A new beta version of Xobni for BlackBerry has  recently been released which  includes LinkedIn integration allowing you to view profile information from a contacts LinkedIn account directly from within Xobni.
