Even though the touch BlackBerry Bold 9900 was the only next-generation officially announced back at BlackBerry World 2011 this past May, several new BlackBerry 7 devices or in the works, and, it looks like they will be officially announced tommorow, July 26th at an event RIM is calling #BB7FanNight.
Only one handset, the new touch BlackBerry Bold 9900/9930, was announced at BlackBerry World a couple of weeks ago. Although they offered no release date other than ‘later this year’, T-Mobile announced their intentions to carry the Bold 4G 9900 on their network almost immediately after RIM unveiled the device. Most rumors up until now, point to a release of the Bold 9900 ‘sometime this summer, but This is My Next‘s Chris Ziegler has posted T-Mobile’s 2011 roadmap and it looks like the touch BlackBerry Bold 9900 is hitting August 19th followed by the, still to be officially announced, BlackBerry Apollo, which is rumored to be a touch BlackBerry Curve.
