Research in Motion today reported thrid quarter results for fiscal year 2010 and and to say that it was a pretty good quarter is a bit of an understatement. RIM added 4.4 million net new subscribers bringing their global total to 36 million. 10.1 million devices where shipped in Q3 including RIM’s 75 millionth BlackBerry. Net income for the quarter was $628.4 million, up 32% over Q2, and up up nearly 59% year over year.
Needless to say RIM’s stock (RIMM) is doing quite well in after hours trading.
