The popular BlackBerry internet radio client, Pandora Radio, has been updated to version 1.1.2 and now works on the BlackBerry Storm and BlackBerry Storm2.
The version on BlackBerry App World hasn’t been updated with the new release, so, if you want to check it out, head over to www.pandora.com directly from your Storm or Storm2 BlackBerry Browser.

As many of you may already know, AOL Radio, powered by CBS Radio, is one of the more popular internet radio services available and they have recently released AOL Radio for BlackBerry to join the likes of Slacker, Pandora, iHeartRadio and others with their own BlackBerry internet radio client.
Blackberry Bold owners can now take everything they love about AOL Radio with them on the go, including all 250+ AOL Radio stations and 150+ CBS Radio local and HD stations. Additional features include the ability to bookmark your favorite stations, find out what you’ve recently listened to, automatically find which local CBS Radio stations are in your area (via GPS) and even song skipping.
AOL Radio for BlackBerry is currently only available on the BlackBerry Bold although I would assume versions for other BlackBerry devices are in the works. AOL Radio for BlackBerry is a free download and you get it it from BlackBerry App World via the the following link.

A new release of Slacker for BlackBerry, version 2.0.12 for the BlackBerry Storm, was released this evening. and includes the following features:
- Improved battery life up to 2x (over previous versions) while streaming
(Slacker has seen Storm devices playing up to 9 hours over 3G with this build) - Improved usability enhancements to the interface, including a “Home”
button to quickly access the station list - Added ability to toggle the explicit content filter (on/off) from the main
menu - Addressed an issue where pausing a song for an extended period of time did
not properly resume playback - Addressed an issue where phone calls or message alerts would prevent
playback from resuming properly for some listeners
Slacker for BlackBerry is a free BlackBerry download and you can get by point your device to http://www.slacker.com.

You read the title correctly… Slacker, you know, the company that makes the really cool internet radio app for the BlackBerry, is offering free BlackBerry Curve 83xx devices on all 4 major U.S. carriers. What is better more is that, less signing up to a new 2-year activation with whichever carrier you decide to go with, there are no strings attached.

We just heard that there is a beta of FlyCast 2, a streaming internet radio client for the BlackBerry, available for download.
Features include:
- Landscape and portrait mode supported on BlackBerry Storm
- Station caching
- Twitter Integration
- BlackBerry Curve 8900 Supported
- Enhanced stability
Although station caching is available to all in the beta, this may become a premium feature once FlyCast 2 is released.

Although not yet reflected on their web page, Pandora for BlackBerry Storm is now available according to Pandora’s official Twitter feed.
I personally haven’t had a chance to try it out yet, however, if you want to give it a go for yourself you can get it on App World, or, point your BlackBerry Broswer to www.pandora.com and download it OTA directly to your device.

For those of you that have been waiting for the official release, iHeartRadio is now available for the BlackBerry Storm. We aren’t sure what all has changed since the beta was released last week, however, it appears to work very well and arguably is the best looking of all the free BlackBerry internet radio clients.

Have you noticed all of the BlackBerry internet radio applications that have come out over the passed few months? There are a boat load of them out there. They all do the same thing, play music on your BlackBerry via the internet, although some do it in different ways.
Do you need to install all of the BlackBerry internet radio clients on your device? Probably not, but, how do you know which ones work the best? I’ve got my favorites, however, I figured that this would be a good time to through up a poll.
What is the best free BlackBerry Internet Radio Client?
Here is a list of apps that we could think of off the top of our heads: Slacker, FlyCast, Nobex, iHeartRadio, and Pandora. I know that there are others so if you think of one, leave us a comment and I will add it to the poll located after the jump.
