Last week on the Google Mobile Blog a new version of Google Mobile App for BlackBerry was introduced and cool new features have been added including the ability to do email and contact searches locally on your device.  Additionally, the ability to access the internet in Google Mobile App via your devices Wi-Fi connection has been added.

Google Mobile App v.3.4.8 Released

Google Mobile AppWe just heard that Google Mobile App for BlackBerry has been updated to version 3.4.8 from version 3.3.38.  It is pretty much standard operation procedure for Google to tell you absolutely nothing about what’s been updated, so, if anyone figures out what the new features are, or, comes accross a change log, be sure to post in the comments.

Google Mobile App is a pretty cool BlackBerry Application, and, better yet, it is a free BlackBerry Application.  You can download by pointing your devices browser to m.google.com or head over to www.google.com/mobile on your desktop browser.

Google Mobile For BlackBerry Updated: Now With Search By Voice And My Location

Google Mobile App for BlackBerryThe title pretty much says it all.  Google Mobile App for BlackBerry has been updated and they’ve added Search by Voice and My Location.  Unfortunately, it is not supported on the BlackBerry Storm.  We hope however, that they come out with a BlackBerry Storm version soon.

Google Launches Mobile App For BlackBerry

Google has announced that they’ve just launched Google Mobile App for BlackBerry. It’s a free download that you can get by visiting m.google.com from your BlackBerry’s browser.

Some of the Google Mobile App for BlackBerry features include:

  • Fast Google search – enter queries without waiting for a browser to load
  • Search history – easily access and amend your previous queries
  • Google Suggest – complete queries with less typing
  • Easy access to Google products for your phone – click once to download and install our applications for BlackBerry, and get immediate access to our web-based services
  • Google Apps support – get direct links to your Google Apps Calendar and Documents/Spreadsheets (select Menu, Options, Use Google Apps Domain: yes, and then enter your domain name)
