BGR has posted what is believed to be the first ever video of the BlackBerry Slider online. Not sure what the model number will be, possibly the 9800, but the BlackBerry Slider will most probably fall under the BlackBerry Bold line.

Will RIM Or Apple Be The First To Follow Palm With A Slide-Out Keyboard?
Even though it’s been out for less than a week, I think that it is safe to say that the Palm Pre is an initial success. The Pre has a long way to go before it catches up with the iPhone or the BlackBerry, however, Palm has brought something new to the table in the way of it’s full landscape touchscreen and its physical slide-out keyboard.

What’s Next For RIM?
Surely you’ve heard by now that the BlackBerry Storm, the first BlackBerry with a touchscreen is about to be released tomorrow, November 21st, on Verizon. I don’t think that there is any question that the BlackBerry Storm is the big thing for RIM this year.
This is not to say that the BlackBerry Storm is the only device coming out of Research in Motion in 2008. The BlackBerry Pearl Flip on T-Mobile, the BlackBerrry Bold on AT&T, and before the end of the year, the BlackBerry 8350i on Nextel, will all have made their debuts this year. To be honest, it is actually quite rare for all four major carries to receive a new device in the same year.
I’ve written dozens of posts about the BlackBerry Storm and you’ve written hundreds of comments about it, but, like with all BlackBerrys that have come before it, we eventually move on and start to talk about what’s next for RIM.
BlackBerry With Slide-Out Keyboard Patent Published
The title to this post is pretty much self explanatory. A slide-out keyboard BlackBerry patent, urrr, the Hybrid Portrait-Landscape Handheld Device With Trackball Navigation and Qwerty Hideaway Keyboard, was published earlier today.
I so hope that this next-generation BlackBerry patent is actually something that Research in Motion actually builds. I have been wanting a BlackBerry Slider for a long time now.
