So, the rumors about the Verizon Blackberry Storm being discontinued are true and 3 of its buddies are being discontinued right along with it. Like I said before, this really isn’t that big of a deal because most of these devices have been placed by newer devices.
Along with the BlackBerry Storm 9530, the BlackBerry 8830, Curve 8330, and Pearl Flip 8230 were also discontinued.

Contrary to what we thought was going to happen, Alltel, not Verizon, will be the first carrier to offer the CDMA BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 here in the United States. The first CDMA clamshell style flip-phone BlackBerry should be hitting the street in early May and will set you back $79.99 after a $70 mail-in rebate.

The BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 is now available on Bell and they are offering it for $29.95 with a 3-year activation. I wonder how cheap it will be when it hits Sprint and Verizon here in the States?

The CDMA version of the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8200, the 8230, has just recieved FCC approval so it probably won’t be long before it hits Verizon and possibly Sprint.

Rumor has it that CDMA BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 is coming to Telus next month. I wonder how long it will be before this device hits Verizon and Sprint down here in the States?
