Inside BlackBerry calls it “A Closer Look at the Mac OS Version” of BlackBerry Desktop Manager. That, this is, however, I believe that this is also Research in Motion’s way of letting us know that the official release of BlackBerry Desktop Manager for Mac is imminent… Imminent like as in tomorrow…
I don’t have any proof to back BDM for Mac coming out tomorrow up and it is more, or less, just a feeling, however, this closer look is awfully detailed as for as official BlackBerry blogs go. As closely as RIM holds “official” details to the vest I cannot imagine that BlackBerry Desktop Manager is not all ready to go…

If you are a Mac user and just cannot wait for the official version of BlackBerry Desktop Manager for Mac to be released, a leaked version has made its way onto the interwebs.
You can pick up a copy of BlackBerry Desktop Manager for Mac beta version 1.0.0 here, or here.

The day that many BlackBerry users that also use a Mac have been waiting for is almost here. Research in Motion is releasing BlackBerry Desktop Software for Mac in September.
With BlackBerry® Desktop Software you’ll be able sync your iTunes® playlists and personal information like contacts, tasks and appointments; install new software, games, and more. BlackBerry Desktop Software will offer the best of both worlds by allowing you to manage aspects of your BlackBerry® smartphone from your Mac.
I can think of no good reason, especially with the number of BlackBerry users that also us a Mac, why RIM has taken so long to come out with a Mac version of BlackBerry Desktop Manger. Granted, PocketMac for BlackBerry is, and, continues to be free for some time, it just isn’t the same thing.
If you would like to register to be notified as soon as BlackBerry Desktop Software for Mac is released you can do so here…
