Here is little something something we had in our inbox this morning. Is the Sprint BlackBerry Curve going to ship tomorrow? There are so many rumors floating around right now that it is really hard to tell. All I know is that I knew that Sprint wouldn’t get the Curve before Verizon.
It looks like someone over at BGR had this in their inbox this morning as well. Maybe this rumor is true… I guess we will find out tomorrow…

Well, for those of you interested in or currently using Verizon, waiting to order and can’t wait until Friday, the Curve is for sale now on their web site. No need to login, it’s up for grabs for all. As you can see by the image, the online price is $219.99 with a $50 rebate, bringing the total to $169.99.

Although we are hearing numerous rumors that some Verizon subscribers have already ordered their Curve, the Verizon BlackBerry Curve 8330 will officially be available this Friday, May 9th via B2B, over the phone, and on the web. It will be available through all channels a week from today, Monday, May 12th.
That is just in time for the kick off of WES, which is pretty much when we suspected the device to available many, many months ago.

Depending on which rumors your follow, the Verizon BlackBerry Curve 8330 may only be a week or two away. In my opinion, it has been the most eagerly anticipated BlackBerry of all time. Our “How Long Will It Take Verizon To Release The BlackBerry Curve?” post has gone well over the 1000 comment mark and about 20% of all searches on RIMarkable about the Verizon BlackBerry Curve.
Do you think that all this will translate into individual device sales unlike anything that we’ve seen on a particular BlackBerry model before?

Were you thinking about getting a BlackBerry but not looking to pay the $200 to $300 that a new device will cost you? Well, AT&T is offereing a free refurbished BlackBerry Curve 8310 to new subscribers signing up a contract and existing subscribers extending the plan they are already on.
Check it out here…

We seem to keep going back and forth on the release date of the Sprint BlackBerry Curve 8330.
When Sprint first announced the BlackBerry Curve they said that it would come out in April. Then we heard a lot of rumors that the launch of the Sprint Curve had been delayed, possibly all the way into June. Just the other day Engadget Mobile reported that the Sprint Curve indeed would ship in April. And today, we see that the device won’t be available via the Sprint Store until June 1st.
Now, The Sprint Store technically isn’t Sprint, but, an authorized Sprint reseller. One could gather, however, that if Sprint’s authorized resellers aren’t carrying the device until June, the device probably isn’t coming out until June.
What do you think?

Alltel usually lags a few weeks behind Sprint and Verizon when it comes to releasing their branded version of CDMA BlackBerry devices, however, this time around they plan on getting the goods into their subscribers hands just as, if not more, quickly than everyone else.
Alltel this morning announced that the BlackBerry Curve 8330 will be available in Alltel retail stores beginning May 1st. That is next Thursday for those of you not keeping track.
The Alltel BlackBerry Curve is pretty much just like the one coming out on Sprint, both of which, aren’t nearly as locked down as Verizon’s model.

There have been a lot of rumors floating around that the release of the Sprint BlackBerry Curve had been delayed, however, the folks of at Engadget Mobile have put those rumors to rest. According to their sources at Sprint the BlackBerry Curve 8330 is still set to make its debut here in the States this month.
Engadget didn’t have an exact date but we predict that the Sprint BlackBerry Curve will ship within the next week and a half.
