I don’t think that it was a big secret the Flash 10.1 is coming to the BlackBerry OS. The fact that Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen said back in April that Flash 10.1 (for BlackBerry) would be out in the second half of this year was a pretty big hint. We had hoped that we would get a an official release date of Flash for BlackBerry, but, I guess that we will have to just make due with the fact that Adobe has officially stated that 10.1 is on the way.

Get An Adobe Air App Accepted Into App World, Get A Free BlackBerry PlayBook
Unlike with BlackBerry 6 and the release of the BlackBerry Torch, Research in Motion has just ensured that, at least a few apps are available for the BlackBerry PlayBook once the device is released. We told you yesterday that RIM would be at Adobe Max 2010 in a big way… Well, they are making big news while there. RIM co-CEO, Mike Lazaridus, has announced that every developer that gets an Adobe Air for Playbook App accepted into BlackBerry App World will get a free BlackBerry PlayBook!
For you developers that just became interested (literally) in developing for the BlackBerry PlayBook, can download the BlackBerry PlayBook SDK and simulators via the links below…

Adobe Max 2010 Starts Today… Can We Get Flash For BlackBerry Release Date?
The Adobe Max 2010 conference starts today and Research in Motion is going to be there in a big way. Following up on announcement of the BlackBerry PlayBook back at DEVCON 2010, RIM will hold three sessions at Adobe Max… Two on the BlackBerry PlayBook and one on BlackBerry WebWorks. That’s all fine and dandy, but, what we would like to know is if RIM is going to give us a release date on Flash 10.1 for BlackBerry 6?
Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen told us that we would have Flash on the BlackBerry in the 2nd half of 2010. I know that we still have 2 months to go, but, what better time to give us a release date than Adobe’s last big event of the year?
