I also think it's a great device. The gps works as advertised for me and with 3rd party products for the 8800. I'm not sure what you mean by muffled call quality. Not only do I not hear it from my callers, but they tell me I'm coming through crystal clear. Wifi wasn't meant for this phone. That's why they are having other models come out with it. Lumping Rogers in with this phone isn't fair as part of the 8800 review. The review is about the phone, not the company you got it from.

sure its not as good as your ipod, its not supposed to be. try sending and email or talking on your ipod. kinda the same argument. I really enjoy this forum and the free exchange of ideas without some of the childish tactics i have seen in others. LOVE the 8800!

I was particularly disappointed with the gps unit. The telephone doesn't work concurrently with the gps. The backlight continually goes out while driving. Try and find a holder for the unit for the gps in the car and rogers staff have no clue where to find it. Rogers conveniently charges $10 per month for using it plus data charges for data. Tech support at rogers don't have much of a clue on how to set it up and knew zero about required PIN number different from bb PIN number. Buy a Garmin and have a wonderful gps unit without the aforementioned.

I am sure that a lot off people disagree with me but in my opinion the 8800 has the worst keyboard of any BlackBerry that I have ever used.

I don't use GPS, and the media player can't even come close to competing with my iPod. The memory slot is kind of nice, but, if I am honest, I haven't really used for anything other than storing media content which has a horrible process for actually getting onto the Blackberry in the first place.

I could not disagree more. In my opinion this is the best device to date. I have been using Berries since the 5810 model. this is by far the best all around device i have used. Call quality is great. keys work well for me. Just my humble opinion.
