T-Mobile BlackBerry Curve 8900 Coming Out Feb. 11th But In Stores Now

January 6, 2009 by Robb Dunewood 4 Comments

Rumors that the T-Mobile BlackBerry Curve 8900 would be launching on Feb. 11th just started floating around yesterday and reports that device has already started showing up in T-Mobile stores are hitting the web today.

Maybe it is just me, but I am finding it hard to believe that T-Mobile has actually started receiving inventory of the BlackBerry Curve 8900 well over 5 weeks before the device goes on sale.  Could this mean that the device could launch sooner that the 11th or does T-Mobile really plan their launches out?

If VZW could get this model out there with EVDO (and Wifi?) and I think we have the alternative to the Storm winner.

Yeah, I’d be all over this on VZW. They would probably have to scrap the WiFi though so it can be a world phone (i.e. CDMA & GSM).
