Hi, Kathy, the music you were trying to convert may have drm protection on them, if this, you may have to remove the drm protection first, otherwise you can’t play them. If not protected files, I just use Daniusoft Video converter to transform the format.

I agree with Ashley,
I’ve been trying every way I can think of to get my itunes (on my HPlaptop) onto my blackberry. I got a few tunes to synch, but can’t remember what I did to get them there. So frustrating. I’ve tried the memory card, transfer from CD, etc. My cell phone company isn’t any help. It shouldn’t be that hard!!

ive been trying to get my music on my blackberry using media files and it just wont work itll copy everything on my phone but i cant play anything and i have a memory card and when i plug it into my computer it goes away from my device and doesnt show up on the computer either…HHELPPP! i just want some music on my phone it cant be that hard can it!?

I was wondering the same thing as Metsker. I would hope that at the very least media sync would convert DRM protected media to DRM free automatically and not lose to much quality during the process. If I had to covert my downloaded iTunes songs to CD and then re-rip them to MP3 manually, I would just continue to use my iPod to avoid the hassle.
