Rogers BlackBerry 8800 Pricing

by Robb Dunewood on March 8, 2007 · 13 comments

The BlackBerry Pearl is on Rogers Site and will cost $799 Canadian without a contract, $599 on a two year contract, or $499 on a three year contract. All that is left to find out is when is the Rogers BlackBerry 8800 coming out?

The March 7th date has come and passed so all we can tell you is eventually, sooner than later, or sometime between now and then. I wouldn’t be shocked to see some Canadian BlackBerry users buying Cingular BlackBerry 8800 devices and getting them unlocked to work on Rogers if Rogers themselves don’t start selling the 8800 soon.

Paris Hilton has it too, I think. I guess Lindsay dropped T-Mobile and went with Cingular.

ok…the only reason i made that comment is bc i thought thats what this website was all about, blackberry stuff. i am really not all that thrilled about Lindsay having it, I was just excited that i found it before the people who run this site.

I think something is wrong with your comments. This post is about the Rogers BlackBerry 8800 but all the comments are about girl with the BlackBerry from the post above.

Where did you get those prices from? On the rogers site I see:

$249.99 with 3-year term
$399.99 with 2-year term
$449.99 with 1-year term

Last weekend talked to a Rogers store owner and he said first week April and the hold up was software related and was better to hold off than have pissed customers. He had a dummy demo unit and got to hold it. Very Nice. Thinner and lighter than my Treo I now use.
