Date will now be last week of Sept or 1st week of Oct. It is in ATT final certification/testing stages. RIM guy had a "Demonstration Model" of the Bold running the latest Beta/ATT certified software. Cool device, O/S. Lots of new features if you have BES 4.1 SP5 or greater. (like Free and Busy on Calendars). It is large/heavy compared to my Curve. Stunning screen and browser features. Fast. I know that this is after probably a mail-in rebate, but still. If Verizon, who already sells a heck of a lot of touch screen smartphones, comes out with a 200 dollar touchscreen that says BlackBerry on it, they will sell a crap load of them. You know,

They have no problem with high speed networks with Sprint and Verizon phones; just come out with the phones on the high speed networks that are already in use (and working). I spoke to a VZ tech recently who said the Thunder was on target for Oct but that the Bold would probably follow the normal roll-out cycle - hence, next summer.
