		<description>It does seem odd that they would announce something like that so far in advance- it's like saying "our current os is crappy and needs replacing, but we won't get to it for a year."  
  I actually like the form factor of the new palm smart phone (too lazy to look up the model name).  Its the smallest (narrowest) decent qwerty smartphone out there- I don't like the keyboard as much as the one on my 8830, but I tried it and it's decent- it works well for me anyway.  And its actually easier when 1-hand (1-thumb) typing.  But yeah, the whole os thing- the current Palm os is preferable to Windows mobile, but it's showing its age.  I'd like to see RIM make something with qwerty narrower than the curve- maybe something between the curve and the pearl in width.  Something that can fit in your jeans pocket.  Its not that acceptable to be young and single and have an 8800 on your belt.  Chicks just don't dig it.</description>
