Looking at just the stock prices, one would conclude that Rim is about 24x more valuable than Palm, but in reality, Rim is over a 100x more valuable than Palm. Splitting into 2 companies was a mistake. Indecision whether to be a Palm OS device or a "me too" Win Mobile device. Blind arrogance that their form factor was superior, when the industry as a whole was going thin. The world has passed them by, by the time they get their new OS out, it will be too late.
